Sleeping better with Leesa Mattresses #Ad

If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen me complain about how uncomfortable I am in the last few weeks in pregnancy, and how much I’ve been struggling to sleep at night (and yet just wanting to spend my days sleeping - sigh!). The midwife explained to us at the last appointment that rest while pregnant is so important, as your body just won’t do what it’s supposed to if it’s tired (or hungry, or thirsty - although the amount I am eating, I certainly won’t be going hungry anytime soon!). So that’s why when Leesa offered to gift me one of their mattresses, I jumped at the chance!

The Lush Spa & Pregnancy

Y’all know I love Lush. Especially now I am 35 weeks pregnant and practically a whale, I just want to live in the bath with my Kindle and a selection of cruelty free bath products. So when I saw that Lush Liverpool were having a pregnancy event on a day I just happened to be on annual leave (thank you to the 12 people who gave me the heads up!), I knew I had to go!

The Third Trimester - I've been pregnant for forever

I’m at that stage in pregnancy (34 weeks) where I’m pretty sure I’ve been pregnant for 12 years. I haven’t seen my va-jay-jay in forever, (although my waxing lady assures me it is still there), I didn’t get to enjoy a summer cocktail, or hot cider, and I really want to go on a rollercoaster. I’m at the end of the third trimester and I just want him here now!

Christmas Traditions with Debenhams*

I am someone who lives for Christmas. It’s my favourite time of the year - it always has been and unless I undergo a dramatic personality transplant, I imagine it always will be. I love the music, the food, the films, the magic and the general atmosphere of Christmas. So when Debenhams offered to send me a little box of festive goodies to get me in the mood in exchange for writing a post about Christmas traditions - well, I was like a Codie at Christmas!

Things I have learned since my mum passed away

My Mum passed away just over two months ago and honestly, it still doesn’t feel real. I keep going to call her, to tell her about the crazy stuff that’s happening, or to run funeral ideas past her. The most difficult thing was finding out we are having a baby boy and feeling an emptiness all day at not being able to call her. But throughout this pretty crappy time, I’ve learned some things, and that seems worth a blog post (gotta get that content right?)

Rocking Maternity Wear with Boohoo*

When I imagined myself pregnant, I figured I would wear long flowy dresses, and paint-splattered dungarees every day and look like a life-giving Goddess. Really, I've been wearing dresses that are too small, and ride up because my bump is too big, thus showing my bum to the world. I've found it hard to find maternity clothes that aren't too 'mumsy', as I'm just not there yet. So when Boohoo asked if I wanted to check out their selection of maternity wear, I was so on board!

CoolStuff.com - Does it live up to it's name?

When you call your company CoolStuff, you are setting your customers some pretty big expectations. Thankfully, Coolstuff.com meet and then exceed these expectations, as their website is full of… well.. cool stuff! They invited me to choose a few things from the website that I would like to try and usually with brands this process is pretty quick. A few hours later however, I had a pretty beefy list of things I wanted! I spent even longer narrowing this down to an acceptable list of things to ask for!

Festivals & Technology

Like most of us, I love a good music festival. Spending time with friends in the sunshine (except it usually rains but still), with drinks, listening to amazing bands, dancing with strangers and generally having an amazing time.

Save Brooklyn Nine-Nine!

Earlier this week, when I was feeling a bit down and wanted something easy to watch to cheer myself up, I started re-watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I woke up this morning to the news that it is being cancelled and, predictably, your girl has some feels. After suffering with bloggers-block for a few weeks, it seems that this travesty is what I needed to get out of my slump.

Hamilton - A Review

I’m not going to insult your intelligence and assume you haven’t heard of the biggest musical right now, but if you have been living under a large rock... under the sea... on another planet, then I’m talking about Hamilton.

BlogOnX Introduce Yourself Linky

I am so excited to be going to BlogOn again this year! It's one of the best blogging events I've ever been to, with a goody-bag so big you genuinely need a suitcase! The first time I went, there was a small group of us, but this year I'm going on my lonesome and I'm very nervous but excited to meet new people. So, here is the BlogOnX Introduce yo'self linky, even if you're not attending, it might be fun to read.

Our New Office Makeover

When Steven and I are feeling low, we like to mix things up, and we like to spend money. There’s something about that combination that makes us feel a little better, and a few weeks ago, at around 8pm on a Friday night, we decided that we wanted to move our offices around. Because why not.
