Sleeping better with Leesa Mattresses #Ad

If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen me complain about how uncomfortable I am in the last few weeks in pregnancy, and how much I’ve been struggling to sleep at night (and yet just wanting to spend my days sleeping - sigh!). The midwife explained to us at the last appointment that rest while pregnant is so important, as your body just won’t do what it’s supposed to if it’s tired (or hungry, or thirsty - although the amount I am eating, I certainly won’t be going hungry anytime soon!). So that’s why when Leesa offered to gift me one of their mattresses, I jumped at the chance!

Why Centre Parcs is the best place for a UK babymoon

Being pregnant is really bloody hard. I won’t go into all the reasons why, but if there is ever a time you need a holiday, it’s when you’re pregnant. A baby moon might seem a little extra, but when you really think about the fact that in just a few more weeks your life is going to be turned upside down by a tiny tornado and this is the last time you’ll be able to travel with your other half as just the two of you, you’ll start to see why it's a necessity.

Haute Dolci Luxury Desserts*

When it comes to luxury, I am not a fancy lady at all. I don’t wear designer clothes, and I’m happy enough in a budget hotel, however, one luxury area I can get on board with is desserts, so when I was invited to try out Haute Dolci and their range of deliciously decadent desserts, I didn’t hesitate in saying yes!

Alternative Advent - Mad Beauty*

Don’t get me wrong, I love chocolate. The idea of a little square of chocolate every day for the whole month of December is one that brings me joy. However, recently I have been really interested by the other advent options that are out there. Any sort of surprise gift every day is a win in my eyes so I have decided to cover a few of the most popular alternative Advent calendars available this year.

Chester Roomzzz Review*

impression that hotels should be nice and fancy (& a little pretentious), with an over priced restaurant and unnecessary room service. However, after staying in two Roomzzz apart-hotels, I am actually gutted that they're not in more cities - I love them! (They are also incredibly priced if you're on a budget!)

Wilson's Kitchen, Southport - The Steaks are High

My name’s Codie, and I LOVE steak. It’s up there with my favourite foods and is probably 90% of the reason I’ve not yet managed to become vegetarian. I bloody love steak. (I enjoy it medium-rare, so you could say I love bloody steak!). So when I heard about Wilson’s Kitchen in Southport having a steak special on a Wednesday, and our anniversary happening to be on a Wednesday, it felt like fate - or at least a happy coincidence!

#BEDN: Home Office Tour

Today's #BEDN prompt is "style". I'm currently sat here in my PJs and a giant varsity hoody from a University I didn't even go to - so safe to say that I am not the right person to talk style in regards to fashion! That said, I decided I'd do a little home office tour, as it's the only room in the house that is entirely mine, (& the kitten's too of course!) and I think it shows off my "style" the best.

#BEDN: What you Left Behind - Jessica Verdi

An advanced copy of this book was kindly sent to me for review by the publishers. This book follows super popular, football star (of course) Ryden as he navigates life with a small baby after the death of his girlfriend to cancer. So, it's pretty heavy, though ultimately enjoyable to read.

Forward Slash - Louise Voss & Mark Edwards: Review

I never, ever read thriller/crime books. For a start, I am far too anxious for anything like that, my imagination runs away with me and I cannot handle it. I’ve also never thought it would be something I could find myself interested in. So I have no idea how I ended up with this on my Kindle but after reading it I am so glad I did!

Review: Lush Toothy Tabs

For a while now, I’ve toiled with the idea of LUSH’s Toothy Tabs, but I’ve always been too nervous. Having had braces (twice!) I’m pretty specific about oral hygiene. I just couldn’t believe that little round tabs could brush my teeth as well as the usual toothpaste I use. Here, I take the plunge in order to review these little tabs!
