I said 'Hey! What's going on?!'

You may have noticed that my posts have been rather infrequent over the past few weeks, and yet my Vlogs are coming weekly as promised. Basically, I am working pretty constantly on launching my new business (watch this space!) which is involving writing a whole lot for my website, and it's making it hard to find time to write recreationally. I'm hoping that in the next few weeks, as my new venture becomes official, I can get back to blogging about a variety of different things that I've been storing as notes on my phone.I'm doing well this year, in terms of not bringing day-job work home with me, and allowing myself to do some 'me'-things when I get home, but also trying to work hard on creating internet things that make me happy. The freedom of creating videos and blog posts with nobody in mind but myself, means I am making more and worrying less. I've finally got the confidence to tell people my plans for my future career. Don't get me wrong, sometimes this is met with blank stares, sometimes fake-smiles and sometimes a complete change of subject... Sometimes, however, the person I am sharing this information with is happy, and excited and encouraging. Which is what I need right now, as starting a new business can be utterly terrifying and a big burden on the ol' confidence! I'm not quite at the stage where I can quit the day job and travel Europe in a camper van, writing content freelance to pay my way, but hopefully in a year or so, I shall be! It means working every day on top of my 9-5 job. It means using weekends to plan and read and study rather than eating Wotsits and watching Netflix. It means writing content on car journeys and date nights working on websites. It means following my dreams and living a life I can be proud of.

Bring it on!
